Ethan Bortnick was born on December 24, 2000 and will be eight years old when he performs with the Orlando Philharmonic at the Darden Family Concert. Like the composer Mozart, whose music he will perform, Ethan’s musical talents were apparent at a very young age. He began to play piano at age four, and can play over 200 songs from memory. Ethan has also composed over 30 songs and piano solos in many styles – classical, jazz, folk and children’s music. Animals are a favorite inspiration for many of his compositions.
