David Kelley

Originally from the Pacific Northwest, David Kelley has performed on stages around the world from off-Broadway to Tokyo, Japan. David is a devoted fan of the music of Richard Rodgers and is very excited to be a part of this program tonight, having performed lead roles in Oklahoma! (Curly), The Sound of Music (Capt. Von Trapp), South Pacific (Lt. Cable) and headlining a series at the Orlando Cabaret Festival dedicated to Richard Rodgers.  Other previous roles include: Javert in Seaside Music Theatre’s Les Miserables in Concert, The Cowherd in the Goodspeed production of Gotham!, Cinderella’s Prince in Orlando Shakespeare’s Into the Woods, Georg in the Caldwell and Mad Cow Theatre productions of She Loves Me, and the title role in Johnny Guitar (Southeast Premiere) at the Actors’ Playhouse.  Film/TV credits include: Trick Pony’s music video It’s A Heartache, Academy Award Finalist Documentary Gimme Green and national commercials for Carnival Cruise Lines and DirecTV.  David graduated from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City and Western Oregon University.
