Robin Andrew Stamper

Robin Andrew Stamper is currently the Music Director of the Florida Opera Theatre. He was the Director of Music and Chorus Master for the Orlando Opera from 2003-2009 where he conducted mainstage performances of L’elisir d’amore, Pirates of Penzance and Die Fledermaus.  Also notable during his tenure at Orlando Opera was the growth of the Orlando Opera Chorus, which culminated recently in highly acclaimed performances of Turandot, Il Trovatore and Cavalleria Rusticana.

Previously Mr. Stamper was Artistic Director for the Nevada Opera where he conducted mainstage performances of Rigoletto, Lucia di Lammermoor, Pagliacci, Suor Angelica, Le Nozze di Figaro and Il barbiere di Siviglia.

Having received his degrees in piano performance at the Eastman School of Music and the Juilliard School, Mr. Stamper has been a frequent performer as recital accompanist and piano soloist, including a performance of the Gershwin Concerto in F in a shared concert with pop artists ‘The Captain and Tennille’ in honor of 9/11.
