William Shortal is in his 15th year as Director of Music and Worship Arts at First United Methodist Church of Orlando, Florida. He directs 8 ensembles and administrates a comprehensive program of vocal and instrumental music, dance and drama. He has served The Fellowship as National President of The Fellowship of United Methodists in Music & Worship Arts. He is also the Repertoire & Standards Chairperson of Music and Worship for the Florida Chapter of the American Choral Directors Association. He received his BMED from Millikin University and MM in Choral Conducting from the University of Illinois.
