Each year, 56,000 third, fourth and fifth grade students from Orange, Seminole and Osceola Counties enjoy an introduction to symphonic music, opera and ballet. These exciting performances, held at Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre, provide valuable cultural experiences and inroads to other academic subjects, including literature and history. The Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra works in collaboration with Orange County Public Schools to create curriculum materials and teacher resources, which help ensure the program’s goals align with Florida’s Next Generation Sunshine State Standards
