Education Director Job Posting

The Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra seeks an Education Director who is dedicated to community engagement and who will be responsible for designing, developing, administering, evaluating, supervising and fundraising for all education and outreach activities of the organization. The individual will serve as a key senior staff member and is expected to either be, or will strive to be, on top of trends in technology and classical music. The individual will be heavily involved in representing the Orlando Philharmonic to other arts, education and civic institutions and partners, to promote constructive relationships in Central Florida and beyond. Extremely strong written and verbal communication skills are a must, as fundraising and marketing are critical to the success of the individual and the Orchestra. Desired candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Music/Music Education or related field.

The Education Committee of the board of directors will begin reviewing resumes on June 1. Salary range is $30,000 – $35,000, commensurate with experience; health benefits are provided.
