The Friends of the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra is a volunteer organization dedicated to supporting the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra. Its mission is to 1) Promote community awareness and appreciation of the Philharmonic. 2) Provide volunteer support to the Philharmonic staff, and 3) Contribute to the financial strength of the Philharmonic. Opening Night Gala: 20th Anniversary Celebration!
Sheraton Orlando Downtown, across from the Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre
Celebrate the orchestra’s 20th Anniversary Season with music, mingling, cocktails, and a sumptuous
French-inspired dinner as Maestro Christopher Wilkins delivers an exciting preview of Mahler’s
Third Symphony. Then cross the street for the 8:30 performance, followed by an elegant post
concert reception. Black tie optional; $100 per person; $90 for Friends members.
Complimentary valet parking at the Sheraton is included. Concert tickets sold separately.

Behind the Curtain: The Marriage of Figaro

Sign up early for this popular evening educational series, designed to enhance your appreciation for the
Philharmonic and classical music. Enrollment is limited. Friends members have first priority until
October 1. This year’s series includes “Bring on the Brass!,” “History of the Symphony,” “The
Building Blocks of Music,” and “Backstage with Cirque de la Symphonie.”
