Friends of the Orlando Philharmonic
The Friends of the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra is a volunteer organization dedicated to supporting the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra. Its mission is to 1) Promote community awareness and appreciation of the Philharmonic. 2) Provide volunteer support to the Philharmonic staff, and 3) Contribute to the financial strength of the Philharmonic. Friends Music Academy: “Sounds of Music 2013”

Sign up early for this popular evening educational series, designed to enhance your appreciation for the
Philharmonic and classical music. Enrollment is limited. Friends members have first priority until
October 1. This year’s series includes “Bring on the Brass!,” “History of the Symphony,” “The
Building Blocks of Music,” and “Backstage with Cirque de la Symphonie.”

Overture brings together like-minded young professionals who have a love of music and a desire to learn more about how to support the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra. Overture members have access to exclusive social events with orchestra musicians, and opportunities to attend pre-concert socials and concerts at a discounted price. The following Overture events are available to members at a special rate of $29 each. Admission includes concert seating with other Overture members, plus entrance to pre-concert events.

· February 26, pre-concert socializing and Principal Winds at the MEZZ*
· March 30, pre-concert martini bar and Cirque de la Symphonie at the Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre*
· April 9, pre-concert socializing and Principal Strings at the MEZZ*
· April 16, pre-concert socializing and Principal Brass at the MEZZ*
OVERTURE MEMBERSHIP PERKS
Membership fees are just $40 per year. (Purchase by January 22, 2013 and your membership is good through August 31, 2014!) As a member, you will receive:
· Invitations to overture-sponsored activities such as pre- and post-concert gatherings, volunteer opportunities and other networking events.

· Reserved concert seating with other Overture members, and special discounts on tickets
