(Orlando, FL – July 8, 2008) - When the going gets tough, musicians of the Orlando Philharmonic stick together. Recently, musician Linda Van Buren found herself with health challenges and mounting medical bills. Her fellow musicians aren’t going to let her down.
A Benefit Concert to help Ms. Van Buren will take place on Saturday, August 23, 7:00 PM at the Margeson Theater in the Lowndes Shakespeare Center, 812 E. Rollins Street, Orlando. On the program is Antonio Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, featuring Concertmaster Tamas Kocsis, and Antonin Dvorak’s Serenade for Strings.
Tickets to the concert are a suggested donation of $25. Additional contributions are appreciated. To purchase tickets, phone the Philharmonic’s Box Office at 407-770-0071 or visit www.OrlandoPhil.org. Tickets are also on sale at the door the evening of the performance, subject to availability.
Donations to benefit Ms. Van Buren can also be mailed to:
