(Orlando, FL – March 16, 2011) – The Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra presents a program of music and fun for Paul McCartney and Beatles fans – Paul McCartney: A Symphonic Tribute. Two performances are held, the first on Friday, April 22 at 8:00 PM and the second on Saturday, April 23 at 2:00 PM at the Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre, 401 W. Livingston Street, Orlando.  The Super Series is sponsored by Darden Restaurants Foundation.  The concert is sponsored by Merrill Lynch.  The Artist Sponsor is IOA Insurance Office of America.

Popular conductor Michael Krajewski leads the Orlando Philharmonic in this exciting program, which combines the power of pop with the beauty of symphonic orchestration to create a delightful concert experience.  Tony Kishman is featured on guitar and vocals, and he brings with him the Live and Let Die Band: Jim Owen, John Merjave and Chris Camilleri.

The program features McCartney and Beatles favorites including Band on the Run, Uncle Albert, Silly Love Songs, Yesterday, Live and Let Die, Eleanor Rigby, My Love, Golden Slumbers, Lady Madonna, When I’m 64 and many more beloved hits.

Actor, singer, and recording artist, Tony Kishman starred for six years in both the national and international tours of Broadway’s smash hit, Beatlemania.  “Tony Kishman is the quintessential Paul McCartney…” said the Long Island Advance of the gifted young musician’s uncanny resemblance both visually and vocally to the beloved Beatle.  Tony is regarded by “Beatlemaniacs” and Beatle connoisseurs as the world’s best McCartney look-alike/sound-alike.   He has been performing Twist and Shout, his award winning tribute to the most successful band of all time, around the globe for more than a decade, bringing the music and

magic of Paul McCartney and the Beatles to a new generation.

Known for his entertaining programs and clever humor, Michael Krajewski is a much sought after conductor of symphonic pops concerts. He is the principal pops conductor of the Houston Symphony, the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra, and the newly named principal pops conductor of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra – the first to hold such a title in Atlanta.

As a guest conductor, Michael has performed with the Boston Pops, the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra and the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra. Other guest conducting appearances include the San Francisco, Dallas, Baltimore, Detroit, Indianapolis, Phoenix and National symphonies, as well as many other orchestras across the United States. In Canada he has led the National Arts Centre Orchestra and the Edmonton and Winnipeg symphonies. Other international appearances include performances with the Hong Kong Philharmonic, Iceland Symphony Orchestra and the Ulster Orchestra in concerts in Belfast and Dublin.
