(Orlando, FL – February 18, 2011) - The Orlando Philharmonic announces the 2011-2012 season of its Focus Series.  The programs of the Focus Series put the “focus” on musical themes and feature the work of a variety of composers, while highlighting the best of the chamber orchestra repertoire in an interesting “theater-in-the-round” setting. This series features the talented musicians of the Philharmonic along with guest soloists and a lineup of enduring classics all brought to life by esteemed conductors.  Discourse from the conductor enhances the music with an educational element.  All Focus programs are held on Mondays at 7:00 PM in the Margeson Theater in the Lowndes Shakespeare Center, 812 E. Rollins Street, Orlando.

The 2011-2012 Focus Series is comprised of four concerts.  Subscriptions to the Focus Series are presently on sale in three price levels.  Level 1 seating is $140 for adults and $70 for students.  Level 2 seating is $92 for adults and $46 for students.  Level 3 seating is $60 for adults and students.  Single tickets go on sale on Monday, August 22. Single tickets in Level 1 are $39 for adults and $19.50 for students.  Single tickets in Level 2 are $28 for adults and $14 for students.  Single tickets in Level 3 are $15 for adults and students.
