If you would like to attend this concert, but don’t want to drive to Daytona…we have the perfect solution. We will be chartering a bus to Daytona for this fundraiser. A special ticket priced at
$100 per person includes:

Your concert ticket; the bus to and from Daytona*; and a VIP Reception immediately following the concert in the Grand Foyer/Art Gallery of the Performing Arts Center.

The Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra will perform at the Bethune-Cookman University Performing Arts Center at one of the biggest and most exciting events on campus – The Sallie Nichols Shelton Culver Endowed Scholarship Fund Concert. The Philharmonic will accompany international singer and recording artist Wintley Phipps. Phipps is a two-time Grammy Award nominee and world-renowned vocal artist. Highly acclaimed for his spectacular and often historical performances, Phipps has performed for six American Presidents including Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama as well as performances for Mother Teresa and President Nelson Mandela. Phipps is widely know for his performance of “Amazing Grace” at the 2009 Inaugural Prayer Service for President Barack Obama at the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C. The historic performance was replayed on national broadcasts for weeks after the event.

Program includes: Fanfare for the Common Man, The Lord’s Prayer, How Great Thou Art, His Eye Is On The Sparrow, I Believe, Down by the Riverside, If  I Can Help, Power in the Blood, No Need to Fear, Always, Amazing Grace and We Shall Overcome.

All proceeds will go to the Sallie Nichols Shelton Culver Endowed Scholarship Fund at Bethune-Cookman University
