In this intimate and collaborative performance, hear Schubert’s String Quintet in C Major and original works from Gabe’s albums Book of Travelers and Magnificent Bird. Joining Gabriel will be the OPO Strings and Music Director Eric Jacobsen on cello.
Schubert’s String Quintet is a masterful blend of lyricism and emotional depth, often regarded as one of his finest chamber works. This quintet is celebrated for its beautiful melodies and poignant themes, reflecting Schubert’s profound understanding of human emotion.
