The Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra continues its 26/27 Season celebration of Music Director Eric Jacobsen with a deeply personal and powerful program.
Long before taking the podium in Orlando, Eric Jacobsen first performed in Orlando more than a decade ago as a cellist with string quartet Brooklyn Rider. Now, Brooklyn Rider returns to Orlando to perform a piece by composer Nico Muhly, known for his collaborations across classical, film, and popular music. The new work is a co-commission by the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra with La Toscanini, Santa Fe Pro Musica, Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra, and the Scottish Chamber Orchestra.
