Opening Night with Simone Porter

It’s Opening Night of the 2020–2021 Season and Music Director Eric Jacobsen has designed a program to showcase the virtuoso musicians of the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra! We welcome Violinist Simone Porter back to the stage for a performance of Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto. The evening concludes with a performance of Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No 4, commonly nicknamed “Fate”. The emotive work will have you on the edge of your seat from the very first note!
