Sit under the stars and enjoy the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra in Winter Garden at Newton Park. This annual event, on the shores of Lake Apopka, supports the Rotary Club of Winter Garden to benefit local West Orange Charities. The program, titled “Race for Space” features the Orlando Philharmonic, led by conductor Dean Whiteside, performing music of John Williams and other space-related selections. With guest vocalist Natalie Cordone.
There will be an instrument petting zoo beginning at 4:30 and the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra will begin at 6:30. There is a $10 general admission charge, children 12 and under are free; with food, beer and wine being available for purchase on site. General admission tickets can be purchased in advance at the Garden Theater located on Plant Street in Winter Garden or at Winter Garden City Hall.VIP tickets are available for $75 each. VIP admission includes special access to Tanner Hall where VIP guests will enjoy free food, beer, wine and pre-concert entertainment. VIP tickets can only be purchased at Winter Garden City Hall, located at 300 West Plant Street.
