ORLANDO PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA TO JOIN BROADWAY STARS FOR BENEFIT CONCERT FOR ORLANDO

 JULY 25 AT THE DR. PHILLIPS CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS 

July 8, 2016 – Orlando, FL – The Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra is pleased to announce that they will join Broadway stars for From Broadway With Love: A Benefit Concert For Orlando at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, July, 25, 2016 in the Walt Disney Theater at Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. Net proceeds raised from the performance will go to the GLBT Community Center of Central Florida, Hope and Help Center of Central Florida, and Zebra Coalition.

“We at the Orlando Phil are delighted to sponsor the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra to play for From Broadway With Love on July 25 at the Dr. Phillips Center,” said RK Kelley, President of the Orlando Philharmonic Board. “This will be an unprecedented collaboration between the artistic communities of two cities forever scarred by senseless violence and terror, and we embrace the Broadway community’s support. Performing together will be a joy and a privilege.”

From Broadway With Love: A Benefit Concert For Orlando features song, dance, and special appearances from some of the biggest names on Broadway. Michael J. Moritz, Jr. (Tony Award Nominee) will serve as Music Director, leading the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, Central Florida’s resident professional symphony.
