Bronwyn Hagerty

A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, Bronwyn Hagerty has enjoyed an exciting and versatile career as a cellist, conductor, teaching artist, and librarian throughout the United States. Her intrigue for behind-the-scenes work began when she was appointed the Interim Orchestra Manager and Librarian for the University of Puget Sound Symphony Orchestra during her undergraduate studies, and has since worked in the music libraries of the Orchestral Recital Series of Tacoma, Carnegie Mellon University, the Interlochen Center for the Arts, and the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. Bronwyn received her Bachelor’s degree in cello performance from the University of Puget Sound, and a Master’s degree and Advanced Music Studies certificate in cello from Carnegie Mellon University. She has been mentored by Simone Silé, Lisa Gedris, and Mallory Sajewski in her library studies, and joined the library staff of the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra in September of 2019.
