Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Kate Gardinier began dancing at age three and went on to train at prestigious summer intensives including Boston Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Canada’s National Ballet School, the School of American Ballet, and Chautauqua. In 2013, Kate performed as Clara in The Nutcracker at Radio City Music Hall’s Christmas Spectacular. At 16, she was invited to join the Professional Training Program at The Washington School of Ballet, where she performed in The Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, and The Nutcracker under Julie Kent’s direction. Kate has danced with The Orlando Ballet since 2021 where she has performed many roles under the direction of Jorden Morris. Kate also has a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University.
