Megan Savage

Megan began studying the cello at age eight and has been a substitute cellist for the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra since 2018.  She has also performed with the Brevard Symphony, Hollywood Travelling Orchestra, All-National Symphony, Honor Orchestra of America, Barron String Quartet, Academy Orchestra, Treasure Coast Symphony, and Vero Beach Opera. In 2018, Megan was accepted into the National Youth Orchestra (NYO-USA), where she performed at Carnegie Hall and toured Asia under Michael Tilson-Thomas and alongside pianist Jean-Yves Thibaudet. In addition to orchestral playing, she has won concerto competitions with the Treasure Coast Symphony, Treasure Coast Youth Symphony, and Stetson University Symphony Orchestra, with which she performed as soloist.  Megan is currently a senior at Stetson University, where she studies under Dr. Jamie Clark as a Duckwitz Talent Scholarship recipient.
