Tyler Pacheco

 Tyler Pacheco was born in Long Island, New York and now resides in Orlando, Florida, where he serves as the adjunct professor of viola and violin at Valencia College. 

He graduated from the DePaul University School of Music (M.M.) and the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory (B.M.) with honors. Mr. Pacheco attended prestigious summer orchestra programs, including the Aspen Music Festival, Tanglewood Music Center, Madeline Island, and Josef Gingold music festivals. His mentors include Paul Neubauer, Masao Kawasaki, Wei-Ting Kuo, Dr. Catherine Carroll Lees, Paul Coletti, Roberto Diaz, and Michael Klotz. 

Tyler won a core position with the Orlando Philharmonic in 2025, and is a former section member of the Venice Symphony Orchestra. He frequently performs with the Florida Orchestra, the Sarasota Orchestra, Opera Orlando, Brevard Symphony, and the Disney Candlelight processional orchestra. He has toured and performed across North America and Asia, with artists such as Itzhak Pearlman, Yo-Yo Ma, Renée Fleming, Andrea Bocelli, The Eagles, Il Divo, and many more. 

A seasoned chamber musician, Tyler has worked closely with renowned string quartets, including the Brooklyn Rider, Juilliard, Ariel, and Arianna quartets. His deep passion for chamber music and growing up in a Puerto Rican household inspired him to co-found the Musiva Concert Series in Orlando, FL with the goal to increase diversity and accessibility to the performing arts. He was also a founding member of the Immaculata chamber series in Cincinnati, OH; a first-prize winner of the inaugural DePaul Chamber Music Competition; and second-prize winner of the Cincinnati Conservatory Chamber Competition. You can find Tyler performing in Candlelight string quartet concerts across Central Florida as a member of the Magic String Quartet. 

In his free time, Tyler enjoys playing sports, being in nature, finding new restaurants around town, and competing in fighting game tournaments.
