Stewardship and Giving Officer

Rio joined the Orlando Philharmonic as the Stewardship & Giving Officer in December 2024. She began her career in the arts in 1998 as an Events & Stage Manager in Orlando, Florida. In 2009 she moved to Las Vegas working as an editor for a lifestyle publication. Several years later she moved to Santa Barbara, CA where she worked in production and editing for pilot television shows. Rio’s love of the arts and music never wavered as she switched gears into the finance world in Destin, FL. She’s delighted to have the opportunity to return home to Orlando!

She is absolutely overjoyed to be a part of the Philanthropy team in assisting the incredible people of Orlando find their giving affinity with the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra! She is the very proud mother of Haegen Renée who is a light in the world and pronounces Octopus, Op-oh-tus, which Rio refuses to correct because, it’s adorable.
