Your legacy gift is an investment in the future of the Orlando Philharmonic and our work in the Central Florida community.
Heritage Society
The Heritage Society is made of donors who make legacy gifts to the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra in their will. This could be through gifts of cash or securities, retirement plan assets, paid-up life insurance policies, or donors who make life income gifts through Charitable Gift Annuities or Charitable Remainder Trusts.
Why does the Heritage Society make such an impact to the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra?
By making a legacy gift, it secures the future of the OPO for many years to come! These gifts allow the OPO to plan ahead for seasons many years down the line and allow us to create a reserve of funds if needed. This helps us to continue creating and performing transformative music for young children, students, and all lovers of classical music. If you believe in our mission, this is the perfect way to solidify its long-lasting impact!
How can you join the Heritage Society?
Thank you so much for joining this incredible group of people dedicated to the OPO’s success! Below are some specific ways you can give to the OPO in this capacity:
- Include the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra in your will or estate plans.
- Designate the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy.
- Charitable Gift Annuities and Charitable Remainder Trusts are vehicles to help you support your favorite charities during life. The Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra works with the Central Florida Foundation to offer these options to our donors.
We are happy to work with you and any advisors for support or language to add to a will or trust. Please don’t hesitate to contact our Philanthropy Department at philanthropy@orlandophil.org or by calling Katie Cassidy, director of philanthropy, at 407.896.6700 x234. If you have already made plans for a legacy gift, we also want to hear from you to thank you!
