Sit under the stars and enjoy the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra in Winter Garden at Newton Park. This annual event, on the shores of Lake Apopka, supports the Rotary Club of Winter Garden to benefit local West Orange Charities. The program, titled “Race for Space” features the Orlando Philharmonic, led by conductor Dean Whiteside, performing music of John Williams and other space-related selections. With guest vocalist Natalie Cordone.

The Philharmonic will honor the legacy of the late Marvin Hamlisch in this concert featuring many of his most beloved songs, such as “Through the Eyes of Love,” “Nobody Does it Better,” “The Way We Were,” and “What I Did For Love.” Joining the Philharmonic on stage will be Jodi Benson (the voice of Ariel in The Little Mermaid), Scarlett Strallen (star of numerous Broadway and London West End shows), and Doug LaBrecque (Broadway actor and frequent Hamlisch collaborator).
