Classical Mystery Tour: A Tribute to The Beatles with your Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra

Enjoy a nostalgic connection to The Beatles rock concert style in the beautiful outdoors of The Springs Community.

Classical Mystery Tour includes four musicians who look and sound just like The Beatles, but this time, they’re performing live in concert with a symphony orchestra. Classical Mystery Tour presents A Tribute to The Beatles with your Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra on Saturday April 1, 2023, at The Springs Community in Longwood, FL, SR 434, 1 mile west of I-4. Gates open at 5 p.m. and the concert is at 8 p.m. Rain date for this concert is Sunday, April 2, 2023 at the same time and location.

The show presents more than two dozen Beatles tunes performed exactly as they were originally recorded. Hear “Penny Lane” with a live trumpet section, experience the beauty of “Yesterday” with an acoustic guitar and string quartet, enjoy the classical/rock blend on “I Am the Walrus,” and relish the cascading crescendos on “A Day in the Life.”

Since its initial show at the Orange County Performing Arts Center in 1996, Classical Mystery Tour has performed with more than 100 orchestras across the United States and around the world.

“We really make an effort to sound exactly like the originals.” explains Jim Owen, the founder of Classical Mystery Tour who portrays John Lennon. “The orchestra score is exact, right down to every note and instrument that was on the original recording. The Beatles released ‘Abbey Road’ a year after the White Album’ and two years after ‘Sqt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band,’ all of which were revolutionary. We’ll be performing ‘Abbey Road’ songs and others that sound spectacular with a live orchestra.”
