2nd Trombone
Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Alexis (Alex) Regazzi was raised in Orlando and began playing trombone at the age of 12. After graduating from Dr. Phillips High School, Alex earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Performance from the Manhattan School of Music. He is active as a performer, soloist, and clinician, and has created an online collection of piano accompaniments for the trombone literature that is used as a resource for trombonists around the world.
Alex has performed with The Florida Orchestra, Chelsea Symphony, Garden State Philharmonic, Philharmonic Orchestra of the Americas, Florida Lyric Opera, Huntsville Symphony, Orlando Contemporary Chamber Orchestra, South Florida Symphony, Hollywood Festival Orchestra, Space Coast Symphony Orchestra, Brevard Symphony Orchestra, Bach Festival Society Orchestra, The Brass Band of Central Florida, and the Disney Candlelight Orchestra. Prior to becoming a core member, Alex had served as a substitute musician for the Orlando Philharmonic since 2016.
