Katie Pinder Brown

Katie Pinder Brown is an accomplished, versatile singer and musician based in Orlando whose dynamic voice, charismatic presence, and impressive repertoire have dazzled and delighted international audiences.

Katie adeptly tackles a wide range of genres from musical theatre and jazz to pop/top 40, from classical to rock ‘n’ roll. She has made a name for herself in Florida and beyond as a vocal chameleon, a human jukebox, and a musical Jill-of-all trades. So far her career has brought her to 23 US states, 18 countries, and four continents, and her goal is to rock all seven before she retires. She hopes her newly created Carole King tribute show Natural Woman will take her all the way.

Katie comes from a very musical family in Georgia who sowed in her the seeds for a successful career in entertainment. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in performance with honors from Stetson University’s prestigious School of Music upholding a longstanding family legacy. Since then she has performed at Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, SeaWorld Orlando, special events, venues, and weddings across the country, and with Holland America and Disney Cruise Line around the globe. As a dueling piano player she facilitates an extraordinary range of song requests with aplomb and expertly collaborates with countless partners instantaneously on her travels. She also founded her Certified Women-Owned production company Piano Party, specializing in world-class piano entertainment.

Her favorite roles to date are Luisa in The Fantasticks, Mrs. Potiphar in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Maria Von Trapp in The Sound of Music. She also originated the role of Anne of Cleves in the award-winning 6 of VIII: The 6 Wives of Henry the VIII. Ensembles that Katie has performed with include: Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, Florida Opera Theatre, Voices of Liberty, American Music Machine, Jingle Bells and Beaux, Hogwarts Frog Choir, Frankie Valli tribute Let’s Hang On, Helena, and the professional choir-in-residence at the Basilica of the National Shrine of Mary, Queen of the Universe. Her career highlights so far include singing with Celine Dion, sharing the stage with Disney legend Richard M. Sherman, jamming with Joey Fatone as a backup vocalist, dueting with “The Voice” season 1 winner Javier Colon, and performing for American troops overseas.
