Modesto Marcano is a Venezuelan born Violist.
He started his musical career in El Sistema Venezuela. Marcano attended schools at the Simon Bolivar Conservatory and later at Duquesne University and Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA, USA.
Marcano is a very active chamber musician and Violist of the stratus4quartet often invited to different chamber music series. He has performed with many renowned orchestras and artists in the USA and abroad such as The American Pops, Kravis Pops, the Pittsburgh Opera, Orlando Philharmonic, Simon Bolivar Symphony, Southwest Florida Symphony, Joshua Bell, Harry Connick Jr, David Foster, Michael Feinstein, Oscar de Leon, will.i.am, Pia Toscano, Foreigner, The Irish Tenors, Andre Bocelli, Pedro Eustache, among many others. Marcano has joined the Viola section of the Orlando Philharmonic as substitute Violist for the last 3 years and currently lives in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
