The Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra has raised $1,061,252.35 through the 2024 United Arts Collaborative Campaign for the Arts. This is the highest amount the Orlando Philharmonic has ever raised through this campaign.
United Arts is the local agency for arts and culture in Central Florida. Each year, the Collaborative Campaign for the Arts unites 38 organizations in the arts and culture community to raise awareness and funds. The campaign runs from February 1 through April 30, with an “early bird” portion in November each year.
This year, the Orlando Philharmonic had 635 gifts through the Collaborative Campaign for the Arts. Donations to the Philharmonic go toward general operating support and all areas of the organization.
“Year after year, the donors and supporters of the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra show their dedication, generosity, and passion for the music,” said Katie Cassidy, Director of Philanthropy at the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra. “The momentum continues to grow as the support of our audience and community make it possible to deliver music anywhere and everywhere in Central Florida. Thank you!”
This is the third year that the Philharmonic has consecutively raised more than a million dollars through the Collaborative Campaign. Funds will be dispersed from United Arts over the next year and will support the Orlando Philharmonic’s concerts and operational expenses. The Philharmonic’s 2024-2025 Season is set to kickoff on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at Dr. Phillips Center’s Steinmetz Hall in Downtown Orlando.
